Visitors normally come to know about the website through advertisements or through search results or through means like social networks & friends. The method of bringing visits through advertisement is termed as In-Organic and through search results etc. without any expense it is called ‘Organic’ visits. The SEO is mainly to improve the organic visits to the website.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. There are millions of website in the internet with various information. When you search for some topic in search engines, they search their database for the relevancy and lists the result for you. Every search engine goes to every website it is aware of on a regular basis and indexes the content. This content is used to provide search result for you. Now the natural question is that how they prioritise or select more relevant content when you search for some thing. This is the question asked by every SEO expert across the world. The point is that no one has exact answer to it, as the search engine owners like google donot disclose the logic.

All search engines provide guidelines of what is expected from a website to provide better ranking. This optimisation is what called SEO. Optimising your website content and make it more attractive to the search engines.

There are 2 key parts in SEO :

1. On-Page SEO

There are plenty of things you can do on the website to make it more content rich so that it will be looked by the search engine favourably. This also helps to improve the user experience through better navigation, rich & authentic content.

2. Off-Page SEO

This is performed outside the website to make the website visible across the internet. Some of the key activities include: Link building, article writing etc.
