1.Duplicate content / Scrapped content

As everyone says, Content is King in SEO world. The days of duplicating the website to create rich content have gone. Google is becoming smarter day by day. It knows where the content is published first. You may even get penalised if google finds too much of duplication. Your content cannot be duplicated from someone else if you are serious about Google page rank.

2.URL variants of the same pages

As I said earlier, lets try not to play with google’s mind. All the black hat techniques will get penalised heavily one day, if not today.

3.Hidden text & Hidden links

This is a technique where users will be shown certain text, but the most SEO focused content will be hidden in an invisible color to the user. There are people who provides loads of back link also from the page (link firm) to monetise them.

4.Keyword repetition

No doubt that we need to include the keywords in the article / page. Number of key words and usage to the number of words in a page is called key word density. Key word stuffing is about having too many keywords with in your article. Try to keep it to optimal level.

5.Doorway pages

Using these techniques, user created pages for each keyword & divert the users to a same page on clicking this link. Google is extremely unhappy if it finds out that you are trying to trick it.

Check out how frowned google is about doorway pages.

6.Cloaking

This is presenting two different pages to users and search engines. This practice has been again punished during the previous google search engine algorithm updates.
